Dubai Amphibious water bus
The pictures above are Dubai’s Amphibious water/wonder bus. With Dubai as the next destination as far as tourism is concerned, its government have gone quite far as per plas to attract tourists from every hook and corner of the world. These buses are equipped with all modern and necessary facilities such as air-conditioning systems, an internal bathroom, sound systems, television, refreshment etc, to make people feel right at home – perhaps, even better as you tour Dubai.

As I look through these pictures, I remember the river-rine areas around the country who need a stable means of transportation, rather than jumping into suicide boats that capsize in the middle of the sea.
As I look through these pictures, I remember the Lagos BRT that hasn’t taken off ground yet. Hopefully before June 2008.

I agree with you that something like this would make a good means of transportation in the riverine areas. one vehicle can take people through streets and also cross the river in relative safety and greater efficiency.
It would be a little less luxurious than this vehicle though as this caters more towards tourism and luxury than utility.

government should please do some thing about it if not education in nigeria is in big problem.and i dont blame government bcos they know the meaning of technology.

Another stinging reminder of the good that has come out of thier oil while we continue to wallow in problems brought on by ours. *sigh*
