1) make sure your yahoo messenger version is version-8. If not, go

here and download.

2) login into your yahoo messenger account, click contacts, click add a contact, and then pull down the menu under ‘network’, select Windows Live(MSN)

3) You can now type in your hotmail or msn contacts, like: abc@hotmail.com etc.,
