I just stumbled across this: Google Squared, a google service that allows you to square numbers online.

This is a nice thing, but I also believe that they are making young people lazy and not knowing how to calculate on their own.
I remember when I was younger, I could do most of my maths calculations without computers; but in these day and age, it’s fast becoming people don’t do anymore.

This is actually a brand new method of searching from Google – the number calculator was just a holding page. It’s live now with the beta version of the new search engine – I wrote a bit about it if you’d like to learn more!
