the worst thing about Nigerian scammers is that you can actually call them on the phone and you’ll get them.

I just called the above scammer on his Mobile Number +2348094403738. Yes o, the guy said he’s the assistant deputy governor Ernest Obi. The guy said he was in a meeting and I should call back in 1–hr. The guy is obviously in his house, a very quiet background with echoes everywhere.

A project just popped into my mind….something like an online database of scammers phone numbers, which could be presented to GSM companies for blocking. Anyone interested, pls holla back. We could rub minds.

  1. Google Voice is a lifesaver. The functionality that it offers is amazing, for example the ability to forward calls. I have invites if anyone wants one. Also I hope that Apple rethinks the GVoice App, hwo could such an amazing app get not accepted by Apple?

  2. I just got that very same letter today in my spam mail no less. I get these types all the time!! I also have reported these types to the FBI. Nothing has been done much about these as they use the throw away cell phones. That is what they do I have called them before and heard kids crying in the background! And even hear TV’s then they would go silent! Obviously they are at home. This is why they are hard to catch. My idea is this, why don’t we get a group together and use the number I just recently obtained through this scam mail today, I have free long distance and three way conf. calling. We can pretend we are interested and say we are UNITED SATES OFFICALS and claim we are heading to Nigeria in a day anyway and would love to meet up with them as we all know most scams are coming from there. Call their bluff, and when they state most likely that they can not met us for some I am sure ridiculously made up reason, we could simply state that’s ok we can wait till you are available. Then say, by the way I am having difficulty hearing you something perhaps like a bad connection may I have another number to reach you at so I may call you right back. Try to gain as much info as we possibly can. It may or may not work. Then again, report it to the FBI and the Police Dept in Nigeria and maybe just maybe this person will be dumb enough to slip up and give us something to go on. I dunno it’s just an “out”there thought, but what have we got to lose? They really must think American’s are complete idiots! Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks and my best wishes,
    Karen Stephens~
